Shana was awesome and answered all my questions even after hours. She performed the surgery on my son and kept me updated the whole time the process was easy and she really did put me at ease during the whole process. She helped and fixed my son and I am forever grateful.

I interviewed 3 different Surgeons before sticking by Dr. Miskovsky. She is the best doctor that I have ever had, and I am 60 years old. Amazing professional, and person. Her team, including *** and *** are also very knowledgeable and kind. I even got a crush for them haha. Thank you for the expertise, and the fuzzies : )

Dr. M had what I would call 'bad bedside manners.' She was very intelligent/knew her field, but did not allow me to explain my pain in my heel. Rather, she told me I was wrong and this is "the way it will be" - almost as if I had done or said something against her. I was polite, and listened. For example, the person who came in first, ***, was wonderful - informative and put my mind at ease. Next came the intern, and read the xray and gave some thoughts. She was blatantly abrupt and made me feel like I had done something wrong.

The wait time was insane. Otherwise, the staff and doctor were excellent, although I could have used a bit more explanation on the problem/diagnosis, potential causes, what to avoid in the future, etc.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Shana Miskovsky did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
