Oh my! Thank you Dr. Liu and ***! I can't say enough how much you helped me, listened to my questions and let me tell you my concerns. You understood me and explained to me what you did for me on the procedure. And also, reassured me and told me what the future plans and visits would be. You are great and glad that I found you among all the doctors out there! Thanks so much for your professionalism, concern and great personality that put me at ease and I felt informed by you two.

Dr. Liu was very good at calming me down. I wish that Dr Litam had as good of bedside manner and filled me in with pertinent information in a timely fashion. Having cancer is scary, but not having all of the information to fight the cancer fight is worst.

Top notch physician and I know a good one when I meet one; I'm a doctor's daughter. Not only was this physician recommended by my PCP, but he came highly recommended by a fellow employee at work.

Dr. Liu and his staff where absolutely pleasure to be around. Dr. Liu had already evaluated by CT and he already draw a diagram of what my previous surgery and and showed me my CT and the pathological findings. I was amazed of his commitment and his love to his work and how thorough he is in dealing with my health issues. Two years post-surgery, I never thought that I would look forward to having cancer-checkup appointments! In addition to being a remarkable surgeon, Dr. Michael Liu keeps current about my progress, and is actively engaged when he speaks to me (and my husband.) His staff admires and respects him, and it shows in the friendly and professional way they greet patients. I met a woman earlier this year who also had colon cancer and was going to have Dr. Liu as her surgeon. I was able to give her piece of mind, by telling her about the marvelous care I received both pre- and post-surgery, and what to expect. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Liu, and the woman I met experienced the same level of care, commitment, and professionalism that I did. He is a UH treasure!!

Dr. Liu is an outstanding surgeon. He is not only skilled but personable and compassionate. He worked with me to devise a treatment plan and timing based on my individual needs. This has helped with my recovery and getting back to life as I desire to live it in a healthy and active manner. He personally made rounds while I was in the hospital instead of delegating to a Hospitalist. This was very important to me. He's very committed to his work and it shows.
