About
Rachel M. LaRue, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner who joined University Hospitals Baney Road Health Center (Ashland, Ohio) in January 2026. With over 20 years of nursing experience in various outpatient and inpatient settings – from pediatrics to geriatrics – she is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion and integrity. Rachel is certified by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
Rachel attended North Central State College (Mansfield, Ohio), where she obtained a Certificate of Practical Nursing in 2002 and an Associate Degree of Nursing in 2007. She went on to attend Chamberlain College of Nursing (Chicago, Illinois), earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2017 and Master of Science in nursing in 2023.
