Patient Experience Reviews
This was my first visit with Carwyn Kruler, and it will not be my last. She was the right balance of compassionate and straight forward. She didn't try to push me towards any treatment that wasn't necessary.
For years I have been trying to get a doctor to listen to me and investigate my issues. This doctor did both and helped me come up with a plan moving forward. I am very happy to have found this doctor.
Impressed with the quality of care received.
She is the best provider I have ever had. She took her time with me, listening to everything I had to say. And I know she listened because she gave useful suggestions in line with what I was talking about. I've never felt so taken care of.
This was the first time that I saw Carwyn and she was great! I would recommend her to any of my friends.
Carwyn was EXCELLENT great referral ***
I want to personally thank Carwyn, her nurse and the woman at the front desk. I told all three of them that I was extremely nervous for my annual pap smear due to sexual trauma and abuse and Carwyn especially took extreme care to comfort me, clearly explain to me what she was going to do before and while she did it, provided me water when I became upset (due to my PTSD, not from anything she did) and made sure to stay in the room with me until I calmed down. I was so fearful for this appointment but it made the experience as enjoyable as possible in my situation for the care and kindness she showed. Thank you sincerely to Carwyn if you get ahold of this message.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Carwyn Kruler did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
