Amanda and all her staff were very professional and friendly. It was my first appointment with Amanda and I was very happy with the amount of time she spent with me. She was very informative and down to earth. I will definitely recommend her to others.

I love amanda as my ob/gyn midwifery provider. She answers all the questions I have, and when any blood work or test is performed, she explains everything.

Amanda was my primary midwife throughout my pregnancy. Amanda provided excellent care and made the appointments a positive experience. I always felt heard during my appointments and knew that I was receiving exceptional care, physically and emotionally. This was my first pregnancy, and I plan to continue to see Amanda for all future pregnancies, as well.

This provider is my OBGYN and I just want to say that she is the best at what she does. I have went to many OBGYN doctors before I met her and she is the only OBGYN that tried her best to figure out what is wrong and was able to get my health condition issues rectified/ regulated. She is very kind and actually cares. I only wish that she wasn't always booked out so much for appointments but it makes sense considering that she is a really good doctor. I am so happy to have her as my OBGYN. Most doctors/ OBGYNs usually don't care or try especially for people of color like me but she has a great heart and knows what she is doing.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Amanda Knittel did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
