About
Ali Kerro, MD, NVS, is a vascular neurologist with University Hospitals whose work focuses on expanding access to high-quality stroke care through telemedicine. Originally from an underserved region abroad, Dr. Kerro is committed to reducing disparities in neurological care and ensuring that patients have access to stroke expertise regardless of their geographic location.
Dr. Kerro’s clinical and academic interests include telestroke, neuroimaging, neurosonology and the evaluation of stroke mimics. He holds the Neurosonology (NVS) certification and was honored as "Fellow of the Year" during his vascular neurology fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Kerro is actively involved in the education and mentorship of vascular neurology fellows through telemedicine and is passionate about advancing stroke systems of care across the University Hospitals network. His goal is to help standardize evidence-based stroke care throughout Ohio so that patients can receive expert stroke evaluation and treatment close to home.
