Samuel C. Kerns, MD, is a board-certified ENT specialist. He completed his undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University in 1999, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Kerns obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in 2003. He then joined Loyola University Medical Center, where he completed an internship in General Surgery (2003 – 2004) and a residency in Otolaryngology (2004 – 2008).
Dr. Kerns’ medical interests include nasal and sinus disease, hearing loss, pediatric patients, and neck masses. In his personal time, Dr. Kerns enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and following Cleveland’s sports teams.

I went to Dr.Kerns, to be established as a new patient. It was a good experience. When checking my ears, he said that there was wax in my right ear & he asked if I would like it removed. I said yes, so he gently did the procedure. I also explained that I have had sinus infections & sore throat issues usually in the winter months. He listened to me& had a caring attitude.
Absolutely love, Dr. Kerns, and his staff! They're always very kind and concerned about any issue or concern that I may have.

I had an urgent situation that was too big for urgent care and too small for the ER. Dr. Kerns squeezed me into his schedule and 2 more times for follow-ups to check my progress. This is the perfect doctor model in my book. I really felt like he genuinely cared about giving me his best care. I am so grateful.

I have had chronic ENT-related issues throughout my life and (as such) have seen a lot of different ENT specialists over the years. Many of them very good. Dr. Kerns is absolutely the best ENT I've ever had. I have recommended and will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Kerns was very professional and caring about my health situation. His team was amazing at the *** office for my surgery, answered all questions, explaining procedures, side effects, meds, do's and don'ts, aftercare, long term effects everything!! The surgery went well, the medical team was just amazing. I have a high tolerance for pain and low tolerance with meds. After I woke up from my surgery, I had no pain and the anesthesia didn't have me groggy or nauseous. I felt normal that to me spoke volumes. I had no post surgery pain neither. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, patient and they will be the only medical team I trust with my medical care. They were nice to my family that accompanied me for my surgery. Amazing experience and I highly recommend Dr. Kerns and his staff. Thank you for taking great care of me Dr. Kerns!!
