Jon D. Kannensohn, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician with University Premier Pediatricians in Mentor, Ohio, and a member of the Rainbow Care Network, the region’s largest coordinated group of medical professionals providing care to children. He is Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kannensohn is board certified in pediatrics. He joined University Premier Pediatricians in 2009.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Kannensohn. He truly puts me at ease when it comes to any concerns I may have about my son's health. We had our first sick child visit for my 15 month old and he let me ask all the questions I needed to feel comfortable. I called the office at 2:30 on a Friday and he was able to see me at 4pm so I would have some peace of mind over the weekend. His nurse (I'm sorry ***) is absolutely wonderful as well and makes the visit equally as pleasant. I feel supported in knowing Dr. Kannensohn is there to help us make decisions regarding our child, rather than forcing us to make a decision. I can't imagine someone else taking care of my child.
Dr. Kannensohn and Nurse *** are consistently, time and time again the ABSOLUTE BEST. I wholeheartedly mean that. I cannot express to you the respect I have for Dr. Kannensohn. He is in my opinion one of the very best drs in the area. *** I feel confident and capable to make the best choices for my children developmentally with this team by my side.
