About
Jason Ina, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, followed by fellowships in sports medicine at Mayo Clinic and pediatric sports medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Ina’s clinical interests include sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder, hip and elbow, with particular expertise in caring for pediatric and adolescent athletes. His academic and research interests include ACL injuries, meniscus preservation and repair, patellofemoral instability, cartilage restoration and hip preservation.
An active clinician, educator and researcher, Dr. Ina has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has presented his research nationally and internationally. He is excited to return to Cleveland and join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospitals and University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
