Having an established relationship with a quality medical practice and provider is highly important to me as a key part of maintaining my mental and emotional health along with my physical health. I always feel completely comfortable discussing my health and personal details, knowing I will receive understanding in return. During the 10-15 years which I have been a patient at University Hospitals, Dr. Iemma and the UH team have helped me add to and build on my health practices which have never been better, even as I am now in middle age.
Dr Iemma is very patient but stern, matter of fact. I appreciate this.

Doc was awsome...I explained that I was have some issues with my my hands and and he helped with that . Also I explained I was having some major grief due to my youngest son's death that week before..and we talked about it ....afterwards leaving there I felt a bit better...docs always there when I have any problems...his new nurse is pretty awsome as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Iemma's for many years and have sought treatment for a variety of health concerns. He is always caring and knowledgeable. Best doc I have ever seen! I Pass by 100's of docs and travel many extra miles to see Dr.Iemma. He is just not phoning it in. He is aware of new studies and can handle the problems I have, and if we can't solve them he will refer to a UH specialist. Selfishly I hope he never retires.

I was ecstatic that I was able to come back and see Dr. Iemma after my new jobs insurance kicked in. Best doctor I've had and only one I've had that really listens and hears me allowing me to be a partner in my own health care. My brother recommended him to me and he is a very difficult and particular person. If he likes him, that's really saying something to me and my experience has been the same. I'd recommend him to everyone.
