Dr Hardacre was excellent! It was my first visit and I have been diagnosed with a malignant mass in the bile ducts close to my pancreas. Dr Hardacre was very considerate in explaining what my diagnosis means and what procedures will be followed for treatment.

The doctor had a great personality, but didn't agree with a statement he made. I came in believing I have a hernia because of the great pain I had been experiencing. The doctor stated that it was odd I was having pain. He stated that hernias, you don't have pain. I have read many articles on the subject from hospitals & physicians that stated about having pain. This made me unsure of this physician

Dr Hardacre is an extremely excellent physician with an excellent bedside manner. It's apparent that he loves his job. On this date, I saw him for a post op visit after a ***. The surgery went well and this was a quick visit to see how well I was healing post op. Everything was fine. He answered all my questions like he always does and explains things thoroughly. If I ever need another surgeon again in his field of expertise, I will be calling him immediately. If every UH surgeon is as intelligent and acts and works with such a high standard of care like Dr. Hardacer, then UH would be all set for success in NE Ohio. This Dr exemplifies the highest standard of care that every person is searching for in a surgeon. So glad I found him.

This was my first visit with Dr. Hardacre. I was very happy with his explainations to questions I had concerning my pancreas that no other doctor could give me. He even drew pictures so I could understand the situation with my pancreas. I will continue seeing Dr. Hardacre for future tests and treatment concerning my pancreas. I feel I have finally found the right doctor to be my pancreas doctor (seems I have a doctor for each body part!)

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
