Joseph Hanna, MD, MBA, is a Professor of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and a neurologist at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center.
A multigenerational Cleveland native, Dr. Hanna received a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University with interest in automation and robotics. He completed medical school at University of Cincinnati and residencies and fellowships at University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and Metrohealth in internal medicine, adult neurology, cerebrovascular disease and stroke, and neurocritical care.
Dr. Hanna has provided neurologic expertise at all three Greater Cleveland medical systems and directed care in neuroscience at the largest medical provider in South Carolina. He has served on local and national boards, including the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
Recently returned to his Northeast Ohio home, Dr. Hanna provides outpatient neurologic expertise at UH Parma Medical Center and nearby Southwest General Hospital. He has expertise in a wide spectrum of neurologic conditions, with special focus on stroke and cerebrovascular disease.
