About
Christina Greig, MSN, RN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN, is an adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She is also an acute care nurse practitioner at Harmony Hospice. Her areas of expertise include critical care, hospice and palliative medicine and internal medicine. Prior to her nurse practitioner work, Christina worked as Head Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse at University Hospitals for thirteen years.
Christina obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from John Carroll University.
Christina is a registered nurse and advanced practice registered nurse in the state of Ohio. She also holds a certification in critical care nursing from the American Association of Critical Care Nursing. She holds credentials of acute care nurse practitioner from the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Christina also holds basic life support and advanced life support certifications from the American Heart Association.
Christina has been the recipient of the Carla R. Guard Award for Patient Safety, University Hospitals. Her leadership is also recognized by the Pat Buergin Leadership Award, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Additionally, she received national recognition by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, with the Circle of Excellence Award in 2013. Christina’s work has been featured in a number of presentations including the Rapid Response Team’s proactive approaches to patient safety and care.
