About

Lloyd Greene, MD, is a general cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Greene completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He then earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, New York. His postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Dr. Greene is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His special areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, heart failure and heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. He also has extensive experience in preventive cardiology and echocardiography.

Dr. Greene is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He has been named one of Cleveland’s Top Doctors by Cleveland Magazine.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
