Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Gordon has performed multiple surgeries on my back over the last five years. He always presents as professional, listens to me closely, provides options when they exist and is overall courteous and friendly. He follows up personally with x-ray or scan results.
This was my first visit w/ Dr. Gordon as we recently moved to the area. As an initial meeting, he allowed me to provide history on my condition, reviewed previous test results, offered options, and ultimately prescribed PT as a first step. I will definitely seek his expertise again should the situation not be resolved w/ PT or worsens.
I met Dr. Gordon to discuss the next step in resolving a problem with certain discs in my spine that were pinching my right sciatic nerve. We agreed that surgery is the best option. Dr. Gordon carefully outlined two possible procedures and I chose the least invasive surgery. He then scheduled a surgery date and contacted the hospital to set up the pre-op visit at the hospital. I heard from them within 24 hours and using MyChart as instructed I completed the forms on that site. I am very pleased with the professsional yet caring attitude from every person I was in contact with.
My back was in very bad shape when I visited DR. Gordon. He carefully and thoroughly explained to me what was wrong, and. What my options were. He did an excellent job, and I really appreciated his professional and skillful efforts.

All good
First time with Dr. Gordon-Most satisfactory experience with him and all staff @ UH/Geauga.
It helped that he smiled and was friendly which calmed me down. He explained all and suggested the plan going forward.
I am very impressed with this doctor
I am so glad I saw Dr. Gordon.
He laughed with me when I made a joke and he said he wouldn't suggest something without helping me to accomplish what I need to
Dr was outstanding, took time to explain the pros and cons of my back pain
Even though I waited long to see my provider but it was worth to wait to be seen Dr. Gordon.
Excellent service - - complete confidence in Dr. Gordon's ability to rectify my problem
Great experience!!!
First visit with Dr Gordon and I found him very nice and respectful of my time and intelligence. Though he had an emergency, he took the time to see me and not reschedule, Instead of pulling up the MRI and quickly closing the screen while rushing through an explanation, he kept the MRI up. We went over it, and I actually saw and understood the herniated disk and how he would repair It via a minimally Invasive technique, I can still visualize it. Having exhausted all other treatments, and finding walking difficult, Dr Gordon will be repairing my disk soon. I am very pleased. ***
Dr. Gordon did a great job explaining my health problem, explaining the gameplan, and answering my questions. ***
I would recommend Dr. Gordon n his team to family n friends (I have!) I trust his judgment, n subsequent explanations n treatment. He was referred to me by a prior surgeon who retired.
Very good as always
Great experience with the care provider. ***
