This was a very difficult appt, as a breast cancer pt, a yearly mammogram can be emotionally challenging. During this appt I needed to have a repeat set of X-rays, and then an ultrasound. I was out of my mind upset. Everyone was very kind and gave wonderfully professional care. I guess I was desperately hoping someone one give me some insight as to what issues they were having that I needed more assessment. I of course assumed it was something bad and was extremely anxious. I don't know if there are any processes to provide some support for the pt during that but, intervention would be helpful! The new facility at Ahuja is amazing and the mammogram technician that care for me was FABULOUS! Please recognize her professional excellence, she is very deserving!!!!!
It was a great experience all around.
My experience from beginning to end (biopsy, surgery, post-op, radiation, consults) have been excellent. From checking in (receptionist) to nursing care, radiation treatment this institution University Hospital (Ahuja, Geneva,Mentor) has been a well oiled machine. I've been treated with compassion and respect on all levels I don't know what your doing but KEEP DOING IT!! Thank you for CARING as a retired nurse it made me know that yes there are still people who care and have expertise in their line of work! I benefited from it all and I am grateful.
