Gregg Faiman, MD, is a University Hospitals endocrinologist who specializes in treating diabetes and other metabolic disorders. Dr. Faiman is also a clinical instructor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Faiman attended the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in medicine in in 1992. He obtained his medical degree at Max Rady College of Medicine (Winnipeg, Canada), then called School of Medicine Manitoba Medical College, in 1994. Dr. Faiman did his postdoctoral training at Cleveland Clinic, including an internal medicine internship, an internal medicine residency and an endocrinology fellowship completed in 1995, 1997 and 1999, respectively.
Dr. Faiman has authored or co-authored articles for such peer-reviewed medical journals as Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, Clinical Chemistry, Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. He has delivered abstracts at annual meetings of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, among others.
