About

Natalie Evans, MD, MS, FAHA, FSVM, is a top-rated vascular medicine physician and serves as co-director of noninvasive vascular testing at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute.

Dr. Evans is highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions that affect the body’s blood vessels, including arteries, veins and lymphatic system. She has special interest in the medical management of lower extremity peripheral artery disease, treatment of venous thromboembolism like deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, and the diagnosis of hypercoagulable states.

Dr. Evans earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed an internal medicine residency and vascular medicine fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Evans also earned her master’s degree in science (MS) from Northwestern University.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Evans is active in the national vascular medicine community, serving on the editorial board of the journal Vascular Medicine, where she also was a long-standing co-editor of the highly downloaded vascular disease patient information page. She also is a fellow of the Society for Vascular Medicine and the American Heart Association.
