About
Jennifer Emrick, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner at University Hospitals. In addition to caring for breast cancer patients and patients with a family history of breast cancer, Emrick’s areas of expertise include high risk breast surveillance and breast cancer survivorship. She sees patients at the UH Breast Centers at UH St. John Medical Center (Westlake, Ohio) and UH Ahuja Medical Center (Beachwood, Ohio).
Since joining UH in 2014, Emrick has also worked as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at UH Richmond Medical Center and a Peri-Operative Services Assistant Nurse Manager at UH Bedford Medical Center. Prior to joining UH, her professional experience included working as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at The Christ Hospital Health Network (Cincinnati, Ohio).
Emrick earned a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership from Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio) in 2008. She then attended Hondros College Nursing Programs in West Chester, Ohio, where she obtained a Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma in 2011, an Associates Degree in nursing in 2012 and Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2015. She went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing from Kent State University (Kent, Ohio) in 2018.
