About
Ghassan H. Elkadi, MD, MSc, FACP, is a vascular medicine specialist and certified registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI) at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Elkadi earned his medical degree in cardiology and vascular medicine from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed his postdoctoral training with a residency in internal medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in vascular medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Elkadi enjoys teaching the next generation of physicians. Prior to joining University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute and Case Western Reserve University, he held assistant professorship roles in other well-known institutions like Weill Cornell Medical College and Brown University School of Medicine.
Dr. Elkadi is also an active member of distinguished national organizations including the American Echocardiography Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, American Society of Hypertension, Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Society of Vascular Medicine.
