About
Kevin D’Rummo, MD, is a radiation oncologist with University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Dr. D’Rummo sees patients at UH Parma Medical Center, where he serves as Medical Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. D’Rummo is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His areas of expertise include general radiation oncology, breast cancer, lung cancer and prostate cancer.
As an undergraduate, Dr. D’Rummo attended Denison University (Granville, Ohio), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2012. He obtained his medical degree at The University of Toledo College of Medicine (Toledo, Ohio) in 2016. Dr. D’Rummo’s postdoctoral trained included a Summa Health Transitional Year Program completed in 2017 at Summa Health (Akron, Ohio), followed by a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine finished in 2021, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. D’Rummo has published research papers in such peer-reviewed medical journals as American Journal of Clinical Oncology, Practical Radiation Oncology, Supportive Care in Cancer and Translational Andrology and Urology. He has delivered oral presentations, poster presentations and/or abstracts at annual meetings of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and American Society of Clinical Oncology, among others. As an educator, Dr. D’Rummo has lectured on radiation oncology-related topics for both the Case Western Reserve University Radiation Oncology Program and UH Parma Medical Center Internal Medicine Program.
