About
Eric Curfman, MD, is a neurologist specializing in epileptology, with a special interest in drug-resistant and surgical epilepsy. He provides comprehensive care for patients with seizures and epilepsy.
Dr. Curfman was born in Lafayette, Indiana, where he returned to complete his bachelor’s degree in biology at Purdue University. He earned his medical doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Curfman is board certified in neurology and has completed fellowship training in electroencephalography (EEG) and epilepsy management, including surgical planning and neurostimulation training. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Curfman is actively involved in education and research focused on epilepsy and related conditions. He has co-authored a book on neurology education and contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presentations that address seizure-related phenomena and other neurologic topics.
Dr. Curfman’s scholarly work reflects dedication to improving understanding of epilepsy and advancing treatments that enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
