I was treated very courteous and with care from everyone. I only met with Cindy Craig for about 2-minutes. Most of my time was with other assistants. Cindy Craig though, was very courteous, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with.

*** Nurse Craig herself has been excellent at both visits. Great demeanor, helpful, understanding, and not too extreme in her suggestions, which I appreciate. She gave a very good summary and advice as to how to proceed going forward.

It was a good visit

Cindy Craig was excellent. I've seen two nurse practitioners recently for GYN and this urology visit. I think their care is excellent. I'd be happy to only see a medical doctor if recommended. Nurse practitioners are great. They were both women which is a plus for me because (my bias), I think women are better listeners and communicators in general although I really like my GP who is male as well. But for female issues, talking to another woman is comforting.

Provider was kind, courteous, and a good listener. I am in the process of switching the majority of my care from the Cleveland Clinic to UH, so I was visiting this provider to reevaluate an existing condition. The course of action she recommended seemed very reasonable and practical and not extreme overkill, so I appreciated that. The office staff were also very pleasant and friendly - everyone smiling and making nice conversation - which a patient does not always experience and really sets the tone and makes the difference for many an office visit. It was a very nice experience overall. ***

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
