About

Kate Clancy, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist who joined the Ear, Nose and Throat Institute in 2023. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and completed her otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at University Hospitals. She then successfully completed her fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Her clinical interests include managing patients with cancers and disorders of the head and neck region, including patients with cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx. This includes techniques such as transoral robotic surgery (TORS). In addition, Dr. Clancy treats patients with tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands, and will see patients with advanced skin cancers including melanoma.

Dr. Clancy has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and is a current reviewer for otolaryngology- head and neck surgery: the official journal for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). She is an active member of the American Head and Neck Society as well as the AAO-HNS.
