About

Michael Callegari, MD, MBA, is a fellowship-trained urologist at University Hospitals specializing in reconstructive and genitoplastic urologic surgery.

Originally from Oklahoma, Dr. Callegari completed his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Tulsa before attending medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He then completed his urologic residency at Case Western Reserve University/ University Hospitals before completing a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction at the Lahey Clinic in Boston.

Dr. Callegari’s primary clinical interests include the treatment of urethral stricture disease, fistulas, Peyronie's disease, male incontinence, erectile restoration and the surgical management of concealed penis and genital lymphedema. Additionally, he is experienced in and performs robotic minimally invasive surgical intervention for urinary reconstruction, management of neurogenic bladder and urinary diversion. Dr. Callegari also treats patients for many general urologic conditions including kidney stones and enlarged prostate.

In his spare time, Dr Callegari enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, traveling, playing golf and enjoying all things related to Sooner football and Thunder basketball.
