Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Butto and staff were friendly, professional, easy to understand and showed me care and concern for my condition.
Very pleased with Dr. Butto.
I completely enjoyed talking with this doctor. She was extremely knowledgeable and sincere in her recommendations. I appreciated the fact that she didn't push for more to be done than needed to be done.
Dr. Butto, is the first Dr that I have personally seen that was interested in my health concerns, she did not brush me off like most Dr's have, she was very genuine and knowledgeable about the my diagnosis. It was very refreshing to meet a Dr like her. I left her office very well informed and confident in the plan she set in place for my care. When I left I wanted to tell all my friends and family about Dr.Butto!
The doctor and staff were excellent. Very efficient and the X-ray was extremely helpful. Dr. Butto's care recommendations were helpful. Her knowledge and confidence set me at ease. The whole staff was superb. Receptionist and X-ray staff deserve praise for their skill and efficiency. Please keep up the good work. I am grateful to all of you for helping me. I need to work and keep going; and University Hospitals has helped me attain that goal. Thank you!!
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
