Dr. Burtch has been excellent for every appointment I've seen him for in the decade I've been seeing him. There's a reason I drive from Columbus just to see him.
All office personnel are prompt and wait time is always very short whether waiting in the waiting room or in an exam room. Very pleased always!

Although I was reluctant to begin a new treatment he took the time to explain the benefits and brought a sample to show how to administer the suggested treatment. He reassured me this was the best treatment for my condition but If It was not what I wanted, he would appeal with the insurance to attempt to get the previous treatment approved. We agreed to try this new treatment and to let him know if a change is needed. I would recommend Dr. Burtch to anyone. He Is compassionate, kind, and understanding.
From the front window to the exam room always top notch experience. You can tell that Dr Burtch treats his staff with respect because they represent him very well and treat me and everyone with respect.
Until Dr. Burtch my diabetes was so out of control. He helped manage it until I got to the point where I am off insulin. I have lost the weight and for the first time in over 10 years, my A1c is now at a 6.1 Where it was registered above 15 when I first started going to Dr. Burtch. He's absolutely amazing and is an asset to UH. I have recommended him to coworkers and friends, who are struggling with diabetes.

This was the first time that I was seen by Dr. Burtch, as I was just diagnosed with Diabetes on *** and he was referred to me as my endocrinologist. He had an exceptional "bedside" manner, was very informative in explaining my new diagnosis in detail and what steps I need to go through moving forward. I was very impressed with Dr. Burtch as he was not only professional, but very personable as well. It's nice to have a doctor that actually listens to you and takes the time to answer all your questions, no matter how many you have or how long it takes, making sure I understood everything he said/recommended. He even wrote down notes for me. Wonderful experience and I appreciate him and his staff!

I've probably been to Dr. Burtch's office a dozen times in the last ten years for regular check-ups. I've never had a bad experience and always appreciate how thorough and personable Dr. Burtch is. His staff was especially friendly this time and even helped me out in a big way when they discovered that I'd left my little billfold with my insurance cards in them in the waiting room after going back for my exam. 10/10 for the whole office!

Dr was surprisingly rather rude when I was contacting him to discuss results of a second ultrasound. Since something was found, he should've been more compassionate instead of sounding like I was bothering him.

Doctor listened to me and my concerns about low blood platelet count and set me up for further tests. I was the last patient of the day and things got backed up. Doctor did apologize for the wait.
Dr. Burtch has determined that I no longer need to see him...he was very kind in his explanation...and wrrote notes on my chart to my new primary care physcian as to following up on my A-1C and pre diabeties care...He also added that if my health conditioned I was very welcome to contact him;;and that he would contiue to authorize my supplier of test strips ...

He is prompt in getting back to us regarding test results which I appreciate. His staff is awesome and relays info to him if needed and staff returns calls promptly as well.
