Dr. Brown listened attentively to my concerns. He was open and honest when he acknowledged the fact that additional testing may be required. He outlined possible costs that I might incur as a result of certain tests and gave me options rather than just ordering things.

Dr. Brown became my ENT because of an ER visit to Ahuja....transfer to main campus. I was impressed with his care and happily chose to remain under his care even though I live in Beachwood and drove to his office in Parma. I would go back to him if any symptoms reoccur.

Dr. Brown was awesome! He was very nice, easy to talk to, explained things extremely well, and spent a lot of time with me. He fully answered my questions, gave me a clear plan of how and when to follow up. His bedside manner is one of the best I've seen, and I'm an RN with 15 years experience in a hospital. I highly recommend him. He treated my father a month before I saw him, and he was impressed as well. Office staff, and nurses were great, kind, and helpful. Awesome team!

This was a first time visit with this doctor. His professional manner and friendly attitude put me at ease right away. He explained what he found and said he would refer me to another Doctor. I have received the referral e-mail and will act on it. I received the usual great treatment from your doctors and their staff. My only complaint is that I will have to go to the east side for the referral. I always try to stay near the *** facilities.

The entire audio / ENT department at UH Parma is excellent. Everyone on the staff treated me as if I were the only patient in the office. It was urgent and they saw me the same day I called them.My only regret/complaint is UH Parma does not have a neurotologist. I live two minutes from UH Parma and have to drive to Westlake or the eastside.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
