About
Raina Abdallah, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonologist at University Hospitals. Her special clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of patients with interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary sarcoidosis.
Dr. Abdallah earned her medical degree from Assiut University Faculty of Medicine in Asyut, Egypt. Her post-doctoral training began with a residency in internal medicine and a research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to further advance her training by completing a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
A prolific author and presenter, Dr. Abdallah has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, presentations, lectures and courses on pulmonary disease and critical care education, ventilation methods and other pulmonary procedures in addition to her extensive research work. She is also a member of CHEST Networks of the American College of Chest Physicians, a distinguished, nationally recognized professional medical organization.

Dr Abdullah and her staff were what every practice should be like. There was an issue with the appointment I made a few days before. They didn't have me on the schedule and it was suppose to be with the NP. They had a cancellation that same day with Dr Abdullah and I'm so glad they did!
