Cybersecurity Incident
On Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, we detected unusual activity on University Hospitals servers. We activated our response protocols and, out of an abundance of caution, disconnected our systems from the internet. While we are trying to minimize the impact on our patients, certain digital services, including MyChart, remain offline while we investigate. We are working around the clock to address the issue and restore access.
At this point, we do not currently have an estimated timeline for completion.
Appointments and Procedures
Through the dedication and professionalism of our doctors, nurses and other caregivers, the vast majority of appointments and procedures have continued as normal.
Unless you hear directly from your doctor, scheduling or care team, you should plan on attending your appointment or procedure as scheduled.
Accessing MyChart
We are currently experiencing issues with MyChart, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we are working to restore access to MyChart as quickly as possible. If you need to contact your provider’s office regarding questions on results, appointments or other information please reach out to your provider’s office directly.
Lab Results
While test results may be slightly delayed, clinicians will still have access to your test results.
Lab results cannot currently be accessed through MyChart. However, patients who have had testing completed through Quest Diagnostics can still view their results on the Quest website.
To access your results through Quest Diagnostics, visit this link and log in to your account. If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one.
If your lab was performed at a UH Specialty Lab or while you were an inpatient, those results will only be available in MyChart or through your doctor.
Phone System
Our phone system has not been impacted by the cybersecurity incident. All UH phone systems are functioning as normal. Physician and office phone numbers are not currently available on our website. If you search for your physician or office in Google, the phone number should be available.
New Appointments and Billing
- To schedule an appointment, please call us at 866-844-2273.

Making Payments
UH owned servers and networks are not connected to the Internet. The majority of applications on those servers are functional but cannot receive or transmit information outside of UH. We are a cashless facility, so payment at the time of service is not currently possible, but we hope to have a solution soon.
If you would like to make a payment, our 24/7 automated payment line can process your payment by calling 800-859-5906 and selecting option 1. This option will allow you to make payments via credit card, debit card, HSA card, or checking account.
