Lung nodules are common, abnormal spots that show on a lung cancer screening or other chest imaging test. They are also referred to as lesions, coin lesions, growths, pulmonary nodules or a “spot on the lung.” While many of these nodules are not cancerous, any that look suspicious, are large or have changed over time need further evaluation and possibly advanced intervention.

During Lung Cancer Awareness Month, join lung experts from University Hospitals to learn:

  • Who is at risk for developing lung nodules
  • Signs and symptoms to watch for and when to seek help
  • Diagnostic tests for screening and monitoring growths
  • The latest minimally invasive and advanced surgical therapies

An audience question and answer segment is included.
