If you or a family member have recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, you may wonder who besides your physician will be caring for you and what resources are available to help understand and cope with this disease.
At UH Seidman Cancer Center, each multiple myeloma patient has a dedicated team of individuals who will interact with them and their family or caregiver every step of the way. Each patient has a team of individuals that includes their physician, a nurse partner, nurse practitioners and a stem cell transplant coordinator. Each team works with the patient so they understand each phase of their journey and ensures they receive the care that they deserve.
