Ann Marie Raffis NP is just what I want in a health care provider. She's knowledgeable about my situation, she's easy to talk to, she called me herself to update me on a prescription, and she returned my call about a subsequent question regarding the prescription. She was intent on making sure I was able to get the medication I needed by working with my pharmacy. As an aside, I have found the nurse practitioners are better than doctors when it comes to taking the time to listen.

Dr. Raffis is the only provider that I trust with my Healthcare and well being. She is very patient and caring and helps to keep me calm during my appointments (I experience high anxiety at times).

Ann is always remarkable, the office did not schedule my follow up appointment bc I had to see what hospitals were close to me that could do my follow up, normally the office does it for me beautifully. 10/10 I recommend my provider all the time.

Dr Raffis was very understanding and empathetic. She listened to my problems and touched base with all the symptoms I was having and explained why they were occurring and how to go about them. The nurse and receptionist were also very pleasant, the nurse hugged me and said feel better as I was leaving. Very good experience will return to this provider.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
