Venous Disease Program

University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute offers a program designed specifically to treat patients with acute and chronic venous conditions. Patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), May-Thurner’s syndrome, venous congestion, and superficial disease can benefit from expert management.

Services include:

  • Venography, angioplasty/stenting of chronic venous obstruction
  • Thrombolysis and/or thrombectomy of acutely thrombosed veins
  • Minimally invasive therapies for superficial venous disease
  • Evaluation and treatment of arterial-venous disease
