UH Clinical Update | August 2019

In a rapidly changing industry, we realize the importance of preparing our physicians for change. As a physician within University Hospitals, not only do you have an impact on patients, but also with others you work with daily. An Introduction to Leadership at University Hospitals
Anton Fellowship Program is offered annually to all physicians. This program was created by Carol and Arthur F. Anton with a vision to lead academic medical centers in the development of physician leaders. The Anton Fellowship Program leverages a variety of learning vehicles, including classroom, project and experiential programs that deliver an opportunity for application in immediate and tangible ways. The fellowship also includes a developmental program at Harvard University for physicians in academic health centers. This is a selection program and physicians apply for consideration.
Critical Insights for Leaders at UH introduces the mission, vision, values and goals of University Hospitals.  New and existing leaders are oriented to the UH strategic goals, organizational structure, financial drivers and the healthcare market.  Leaders also experience and discover Our Leadership Promise, the UH leadership competency model.
UH Leadership Institute Physician Certificate 
To achieve this certificate, you must complete Critical Insights for Leaders and Leading Change in Healthcare.  In addition, you are required to complete two of the following courses:  

Navigating Difficult Conversations or Impact through Influence 

Managing Conflict or Put More Accountability in Your Culture 

The courses must be completed within 24 months. Once completed, you will receive your UH Leadership Institute Physician Certificate.  Click here to open up the curriculum and to register for the courses.
