About Our Survey

At University Hospitals, we believe in providing patients with all the information they need to make educated decisions about their health care and to choose the right doctor to meet their needs. That is why we partner with the independent patient satisfaction company Press Ganey to survey patients about their experiences at UH facilities and with UH physicians. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and are dedicated to creating a positive patient experience for every individual who sees a UH doctor.

Patient Comments

Dr. Sreekumar is very pleasant. It is easy to talk to her. She listens to your concerns. She is thorough with her exam. She also called me with my blood work and explained the results.

Dr. Sreekumar has really improved in communicating more. She is always professional but has become more personal. I appreciate her including me in the decisions made regarding my health. Doesn't take offense at my sharing what I have researched before the appointment. Have been seeing her for 10 years.

I really like this care provider. She's why I go to this particular clinic. Over time she has come to know what kind of patient I am and she always works with me. She has excellent advice and I feel like my health and concerns are important to her. She is careful and considerate. I would recommend her to anyone.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Beena Sreekumar, MD did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.

There is no publicly available rating for this medical professional because he or she either does not see patients or has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and a true reflection of patient satisfaction.
