About Our Survey

At University Hospitals, we believe in providing patients with all the information they need to make educated decisions about their health care and to choose the right doctor to meet their needs. That is why we partner with the independent patient satisfaction company Press Ganey to survey patients about their experiences at UH facilities and with UH physicians. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and are dedicated to creating a positive patient experience for every individual who sees a UH doctor.

I'm lucky to have DrCash as my doctor.

I am extremely pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Cash. He has been instrumental in mitigating several of my medical issues. I believe a more competent physician would be hard to find.

Good experience with Dr. Cash. He is the best. He is always knowledgeable and keeps my health at the highest priority.

Dr Cash is a wonderful doctor and i would recommend him to all my family members and friends. The appointment receptionist is not very friendly or nice at all. If they would replace her then that facility would be A+ rated..

I've seen many doctors in the last 5 years. Dr Cash is by far one of the best doctors I've experienced.

Dr Cash has and always is attentive and thorough. He is gifted with the ability to discuss medical issues at whatever high or low level the patient requires. He obviously does his reading bc he most always can provide info on newer research in specific areas. I'm sure you don't pay him enough!!!

Dr. Cash is a wonderful doctor and always takes the time to listen and give good advice. We also love his nurse Joann- always smiling and courteous.

Dr. Cash is by far the best primary care physician I've ever had. He routinely involves me in my medical care patiently giving me pros and cons to each treatment or medication option, and always spends a generous amount of time with me.

Dr Cash, is the only doctor I see that is thorough and courteous at his job. I appreciate his frankness and his ideas and his sense of humor. I would not see him or recommend him if you were rushing in and out and not understanding my problem.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Shelby Cash, MD did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.

There is no publicly available rating for this medical professional because he or she either does not see patients or has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and a true reflection of patient satisfaction.
