I was impressed with her diagnosis and recommendations for treatment of what brought me to be referred to her by my PCP and will follow them. She was very friendly, personable, confident and comfortable. She put me at ease the minute she walked into the exam room. This was a post-op visit. I know I kept her longer than she probably had scheduled but she was willing to listen to my concerns. [...]

Donya is a wonderful CNP. I was very impressed at how intelligent, compassionate and thoughtful she was. I could not ask for a better experience. UH is very blessed to have her on staff- and I am blessed to be able to have her on my healthcare team.

The visit with Donya Woconish was one of the best medical interactions I have been a part of, on both a professional and personal level. She is smart. She knows her stuff! In addition she is very friendly and reassuring - the best "beside manner" one could ask for.

I have seen this provider several times for follow up care after cancer treatment. I went to see her this time for a related health concern. She listened to my concerns and was respectful and helpful. Hopefully, I will not need to see her again, but I wouldn't hesitate if necessary.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
