We've always had a great experience with Dr. V which is why I chose him as my children's pediatrician. He is always very calm, kind and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed when visiting him and he always makes sure to tell us we can call or reach out at any time in between appointments if any problems or concerns arise.

Dr. Vogelsang is a wonderful doctor. I am sad that I am moving on to an adult doctor now that I am 20 years old because he takes time to listen to me and has been great for me. Kids are lucky to have such a great doctor and I will miss him. I know my next doctor will not be as good.

*** has seen Dr. V since he was born (except for the 3 years we were in Indiana from ages 8-10) and we've been very happy with his care.

Dr. V is amazing doctor. We had Dr. *** before for a long time. We switched to Dr. V once she left. We have seen him in the past for emergency appointments. And he was fantastic. He has gone above and beyond with helping my son with adhd. Making sure he gets his medication since there is a nation wide shortage. He even just called to check up on him to make sure he was doing well and got his medication. I'm extremely impressed by him. During the check up visit he talked to my son to ask questions. I liked that because my son could express himself. Dr. V is just an amazing doctor! Thank you Dr. V. Also, the nurse and office staff are just amazing too. They have also helped with getting my son his medication. And just doing extra paperwork to make sure he gets it. Thank you all.

Dr V is wonderful. He listens and explains things thoroughly. He takes the time needed with his patients. He talks to my child and not just to me.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
