About
Raju Modi, MD, FACC, is an expert cardiologist and Director of System Ambulatory Cardiovascular Services at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Modi earned his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). His postdoctoral training included an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Modi is board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in cardiac imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has extensive expertise in preventive cardiology and invasive cardiology, diagnosing and treating the full span of heart conditions including congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and heart valve disease.
Dr. Modi is a member of national professional organizations including the American Heart Association. He has also been named a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

This was all a very good experience. After BP etc, the medical assistant left and immediately the Dr came in. Upon completion of the visit, the Dr took me to the desk to gather paperwork and make an appointment for a follow up visit. The entire visit was less than a half hour and we covered everything. Best Dr visit ever! Staff is friendly and looks at you when they talk to you.

I'm having health concerns unrelated to cardiology and yet Dr Modi was most kind, empathetic and concerned as I discussed my concerns with him. Dr Modi is never in a rush, he takes his time explaining all things pertaining to my cardiac health, including all blood work and any test results, and always In a way that I understand everything. He answers all my questions patiently and I always feel he is genuinely concerned with my overall health and cares about me and all his patients most genuinely and sincerely. He is a brilliant cardiologist and a very kind, genuine person - Dr Modi is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

My primary care physician ordered an echocardiogram due to racing heart issues and recommended I see Dr. Modi for a follow-up appointment. Dr. Modi was very, very personable. I just moved to Ohio, reason why doctor didn't have medical records yet, and was concerned about my heart health. Dr. Modi reassured me I was doing very well since my *** done in ***. I was nervous about it, he calmed me down. He ordered some routine tests to start some basic information to have on file until my medical records arrive, including lab work. He also made sure any current medications I take were set up with new refills. I look forward to him being my regular cardiologist now here in Ohio.
