About
Lindsey Meder, CNP, is a board-certified advanced practice nurse at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. She has special expertise in the management of patients with heart arrhythmias.
Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as an honors scholar from Kent State University followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with honors designation in Sigma Theta Tau from Ursuline College.
Lindsey began her nursing career caring for patients in the medical, surgical and cardiac intensive care units at University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center where she managed critical therapies such as mechanical ventilation, intentional hypothermia, continuous renal replacement therapy and intra-aortic balloon pump. She later shifted to the outpatient cardiovascular medicine team at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center to support a large team of heart and vascular physicians, interventionalists, electrophysiologists and allied health professionals in assessing, managing, admitting and discharging patients. It was there that she took particular interest in the care of patients with heart rhythm diagnoses.
In Lindsey’s current role, she manages new and existing cardiac electrophysiology patients in the outpatient setting and post-procedure, including those who undergo device placement, catheter ablation, cardioversion and electrophysiology studies. She consistently coordinates with specialists in heart failure, pulmonology, endocrinology and internal medicine in order to provide the best care for patients with overlapping conditions.
Lindsey prides herself in providing evidence-based and compassionate care for all of her patients.
Patient Experience Reviews
This visit was related to a problem detected by my pacemaker. I was informed of the problem detected and I was grateful for the follow up.
Every person in the office was great
My son accompanies me to all my cardiac appointments so sometimes the provider explains more to him than to me but that is good as then he can slowly explain it to me. I am happy with Lindsey's care and the rest of my cardiac team.
Always professional and supportive. Would recommend her with no problem at all.

Lindsay was thorough and explained everything in understandable language I felt comfortable with the follow up and the timing of that.i was very pleased with the overall appointment.
No problems with the provider. I waited for 50 minutes before I was called back to be seen. After I followed up with the desk twice. I was improperly checked in. Staff was extremely rude and unpleasant.
Great and felt comfortable with all personal
Very thorough understanding of my medical condition and treatment.
This practice is really great! The nurse is so professional and friendly. Lindsey Meder is also very friendly and informative. She is so easy to get an appointment with when I cannot see my physician, who is incredibly busy. I trust her with my cardiac needs. Everyone in that office seems to really enjoy it there and shares that great attitude with all the patients. I would recommend them to anyone.
