Best dr in a long time
Dr. McNaughton has been mine and my wife's primary doctor for about 20 years. It is comforting to know that such a knowledgeable and caring physician is taking care of us. He is like family to us.
It is always been good the last 15 years that I've been a patient at Lake County Family Practice.

I have been with this office for some time. They used to make appointments for annual physical exams around a year out. This was very convenient for me. They no longer do that. I wish they would bring back the older practice.

The doctor was great
In the past I always saw Dr. Komar. This was my first visit with this provider.
Dr. McNaughton always takes time to discuss anything I'm concerned about. He always makes me feel that he truly cares about me and my health.

Can't give a full assessment because this was first visit with primary physician. (Previous doctor left group) But overall a good first visit. Doctor was attentive and a discussed my concerns about my medications.
Dr. McNaughten has been very good as my provider. He genuinely has an interest in my care to the point of asking me during an incidental meeting at a store.
This appointment was for a routine physical. I was surprised Dr. McNaughton didn't have his computer with my records. There were things he had to go back and look up, but didn't follow up with me. Also, he prescribed an x-ray for me based on some issues I described to him but I haven't gotten the results of the x-ray yet. I'll call today to see what they were.

Front office staff is friendly but whoever is answering phones needs a class in empathy and basic respect for others. I think Kim is who I spoke with this last time I called.
