Mary Lesko is an excellent, caring Nurse Practitioner. I highly recommend her.
She was absolutely perfect - great experience
This was my first appointment with Mary Lesko, and I thought she was amazing! She really listened to what I had to say, pulled up my CAT scan and showed me what was going on with the three dimensional model. I also liked the way she used analogies to make things easier to understand. Great experience. Felt very confident in what she was telling me.
*** Everyone in the office was sweet and kind!

Very thorough and friendly, felt at ease and confident with the care and knowledge of the provider
Mary explained and even showed my diagrams answering my questions. No one ever did that before. now I understand the path my pain takes.
She was very friendly and explained all the things she was doing. and had a sense of humor and made the visit enjoyable. Gave me explanations to all my questions.
I was very nervous about this appointment. Mary was wonderful! Easy to talk too. My husband and I left feeling great! She should teach a class on how to talk to patients!
Mary Lesko was one of the best healthcare professionals I've ever seen. She was very thorough and included me in what she was doing. She took the time to LISTEN to me and encouraged me to ask questions. I was never rushed or made to feel like I was just a number in the UH machine. The state of heath care in this country would be much improved if there were more healthcare professionals like Mary Lesko. I cannot say enough positive things about her. Thank you Mary!!!
Mary was excellent and even got to see Dr. ***, they are very great and have that personal touch with the patient that you just don't see very often anymore with Doctors and Nurses and going through major surgeries is already a challenging time for the patient, so they made this process very stress free as possible.
Provider was outstanding.
I felt very informed and cared for. I'm in so much pain and Mary was very concerned and made a plan for further care.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
