Patient Experience Reviews
Dr Kumar was great ***
Love Dr. Kumar, best doctor in my life!!!
I will keep coming back, I like Dr. Kumar and the office.
I am very pleased with Dr. Kumar and will continue using him as my main provider.
Dr. Kumar is professional, thorough and kind. He listens attentively and addresses any concerns or issues you may have. I was lucky to have found him on the first try - as I needed a new Primary Care Physician. Very happy with his knowledge, personality and care!
I always enjoy seeing Dr. Kumar. He is a very friendly, polite and knowledgeable doctor.
Dr. Kumar always responds to my questions thoroughly and respectfully.
Eased my concern with stomach issues
I said I was experiencing symptoms of menopause and the doctor seemed disinterested, and did not ask any questions
This was an initial visit as my usual doctor is taking an extended leave. After being with the same doctor for 20 years, this is difficult for both the provider and for me. Dr. Kumar seems to be a fit and I will see him again. We will have to work through getting to know each other and our respective styles. His support people are great.
I have the highest praise and respect for Dr. Kumar! He is to be commended for everything he has done for me. Thank you, Dr. Kumar, you're the BEST!
Very thorough and he was very keen to my desires of my health and how I want to be treated. He was not opinionated. He respected my wishes!
Everyone does a good job at this office. Consistently happy with the care they provide.

Excellent care. Provider did not seem hurried and gave me all of his attention. He will be my primary provider going forward.
I'm very happy with the Dr.Kumar he has always done the best for me and my health.
I'm very comfortable discussing my concerns with Dr. Kumar. He doesn't seem judgemental and is very open to listening.
Great doctor
I can't say enough good about Dr. Kumar and his staff. They are alway courteous and helpful. Dr. Kumar is the first doctor I've had in 20 years that was thorough enough to find a couple of underliying conditions that needed attention and were resolved quickly. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have him for our doctor.
Very efficient and caring medical team
Dr. Kumar is always very kind, compassionate and caring. We are very happy to have him as our family doctor.
Everytime I see a uh doctor it states in my chart that they checked heart , lungs etc.Almost always this is not true.
The provider saw me quickly and addressed my concern and my questions. The office staff made extra effort to find a same-day diagnostic appointment for me and answered my questions.
Consistently good.
I recently called *** to schedule my annual appointment. First, the doctor I was seeing left the practice and so I was seeing the nurse practitioner only to find out that she had left the practice also. So once again I was without a primary care physician. My mother also lost her primary care physician at the practice she was going to for care. She was recommended to Dr. Ajay Kumar. I called *** and Dr. Kumar was accepting new patients. I saw and met Dr. Kumar one week after making the appointment. Dr. Kumar is very nice and spent time with me to understand my medical history and needs. His staff is very friendly also and they scheduled my appointment for next year also. The last providers office said they could only schedule appointments 3 months out. Dr. Kumar said to call his office anytime for any questions or health issues I might have. I am very satisfied with my first visit with Dr. Kumar.
I was very satisfied with Dr Kumar' s concern for me and the follow up he and his staff provided. They were all so kind. I had blood work done the previous week and she was so kind and efficient.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
