Dr Haas provided great information about my sleep issues and has directed me to get a sleep study. As I'm not sleeping well and exhausted from all eldercare work for my husband who is wheelchair bound and now recovering from total hip surgeryIt's important to have a doctor who wants me to feel better and is willing to utilize actual tests and provide answers to how to get better

Dr Haas is a very caring and professional Dr. She takea her time and Is very thorough with her exams. She listens to you & has no problem referring you to a specialist with any problem that is outside of her specialty & explains why she is referring you & gives you the name & phone number of the specialist to contact.

I always have a good experience with Dr. Hass, every since I first started seeing her years ago. She's a great doctor she asks all the right questions and she listens. She makes sure I get to any specialist that I need to see and she makes me feel like she genuinely cares. I'm not sure how necessary this survey is but it's to long and it takes up to much of my time.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Gwen Haas-Hawkings did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
