Mark M. Goldfinger, MD, FAAP, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He is Assistant Professor in the departments of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Goldfinger is board certified in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. His special interest is pediatric anesthesiology, and he joined the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital staff in 1996.

Dr. Goldfinger completed his undergraduate work at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, Calif., and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wis. He served his residency in anesthesiology at State University of New York Health Science Center, Brooklyn, N.Y., and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at The Children's Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University (now Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago), Chicago, Ill.

Dr. Goldfinger has published papers about complications related to anesthesiology in children and lectured widely on pediatric anesthesiology principles and practices at professional meetings and conferences.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society, Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
