Patient Experience Reviews
I was very happy with my visit.
Dr Funnell was professional, respectful courteous
I was very pleased with Dr. Funnel in every way. He was very pleasant, very informative, and it was very easy to discuss my questions and concerns with him.
Dr Fenell was absolutely wonderful.. Very kind.. He listened even when I got emotional.. I would highly recommend him to my family because they mean a lot to me. I know that the kindness and understanding that was shown to me he would give them the same treatment..
Dr Funnell is excellent. I would recommend him to anyone for an ENT doctor.
Great experience with the doctor
Excellent physician experience. We agreed on a course of treatment including a follow up visit to check on progress.
The visit was informative and a plan was established.
Very good experience!
This was a quick visit so there was no need for Dr Funnell to sit while talking to me. I get the question but it's not always appropriate/necessary for them to sit. I really appreciated Dr Funnell and his staff!!
Was good experience
Love Dr Funnell! He's awesome and his staff is amazing too! Fit me in right away, I was in pain..
All I really needed was removal of ear wax, which Dr. Funnel did quickly, efficiently and without pain or discomfort. He also looked at my nose and mouth and made a recommendation to alleviate dryness in my nose, which was not part of my initial issue or questions. He was quick, efficient, thorough and respectful and I didn't have to wait at all. Excellent experience.
We felt very rushed. Dr. Funnell talked very fast & gave a lot of information very quickly. There was a lot of good information, just delivered very quickly with the feeling that there was no time for questions.
Dr. Fenell was highly recommended by my nurse as he treats the nurse's father, and he did not disappoint me! I would highly recommend him!
Dr. Funnell was very kind and seemed genuinely interested in my health problem
Dr Funnell was so kind and helped calm my fears before and during the procedure. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an ENT!!
Excellent visit. Dr. Funnell was great as I had seen when he treated my daughter. I asked my Primary care doctor to use Dr. Funnell when he was making a referral.
Very good experience. Dr was very knowledgeable and explained things in a thorough manner. A couple of terms I didn't know, but was able to figure out what he was saying. Overall I have no complaints.
Best to understand. So friendly
Dr. Funnel was excellent. I wish he were my primary care physician
This was an initial visit for a concern. Doctor was wonderful! Made referrals which I did call and schedule. Thank you
Ian was great. Office staff was fine. Absolutely appreciate Ian's ability to share information with me and answer my questions.
Office staff very friendly and accommodating. They fit me in same day due to hearing loss. Dr. Funnell is exceptionally smart and recognized right away what my ear and nose problems were. In his words he quickly by"made them go away" and I was able to hear again. Also ordered MRI to be sure internal structures are ok. Also gave recommendations to relieve breathing symptoms, which I tried later and they worked. Vey happy to have Dr. Funnell as my ENT (he was recommended by my wife, a UH RN and patient of his too).
Good experience
Great doc! He was nice and thorough
The office staff although not rude were not friendly and no one knows the power of a smile. They have no idea the stress the patient is experiencing. You need to do a "secret shopper" on all the office staff in all the offices.
Great service.
First visit with Dr. Funnell for ear wax removal was a good experience. The Doctor was friendly, thorough, gentle, knowledgeable, and explained the procedure. Thrilled to be able to hear perfectly again.
I will schedule a follow up after my MRI. Also, there was no nurse. The doctor i& staff are very professional.
Excellent care and service.
My experience as a patient in the UH health system has been excellent. Your staff at the hospital have all been very patient and professional. Thank you so much!
Second time seeing Dr. Funnell. Very kind and thorough and seemed engaged with my condition during the examination.
Dr. Funnell & receptionist were very professional. ***
The staff was excellent and so was the doctor. Amazing care
Very good experience. Really liked him.
Very good
Excellent knowledge of concern.
Great Experience!
Very good visit
Best dr I have had in 83 years
Good visit
The doctor gave me great care
Dr. Funnell is very caring, thorough, and knowledgeable. He did speak a little fast and at a lower tone which could be a turn off for some patients. But everything was documented well. I felt comfortable with him and liked him very much. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Excellent doctor
I was very impressed with the bedside manner of the doctor- he let me talk through the symptoms I was experience and let me have a say in the direction I felt most comfortable for care. His assistant was personable and easy to talk with.
GOOD VISIT
Great doctor. ***
Excellent experience from the office staff as well as the physician. I would highly recommend him.
This is a relatively new provider for me, for he seems to know his stuff and listens and answers any questions I may have.
I am very pleased with Dr Funnell!
Dr. F was very knowledgeable and explained what and why he was performing testing. Easy to understand and answered all questions.
Very satisfied with my visit and the care provided
Thorough, kind, knowledgeable, gentle on exam
Very good experience, Dr made me feel very comfortable
Dr. Ian Funnel us an EXCELLENT doctor. He's very thorough and very concerned about the well being of his patients.
Got in as soon as I needed for ER visit follow up, very through. Friendly and explained everything in great detail, never felt rushed. Will recommend to others
I appreciated that Dr Funnell took the time without my asking to go over my CT Scan in depth and explain everything so that I could understand it.
He clearly reviewed my records, listened, understood my concerns, and developed an appropriate care plan. He was reasonable and caring. He is very competent. I am very pleased with the care I received.
Dr. Fennell is exceptional with communication skills- exceptional listener and addressed each issue quite well In an easy to understand manner. Cleaned my ear canals with great gentleness- he should teach others his technique.
Gave me choices in how to proceed with my care. Answered all my questions concerning my condition.
My visit was a last minute add on due to ear issues. The staff I communicated with through messaging was kind and were able to get me in the next day. Dr. Was very pleasant, explained in detail what was going on and how we move forward to help correct it. I am very happy with my care and the staff here. The dr and his staff are always kind and when I leave I felt heard and feel like I am in the right spot to help fix my current issue.
I have been searching for an ENT since mine retired. A friend recommended Dr. Funnell and I was very pleased.that I followed his advice. I found my new ENT. And, I have recommended him to two more friends.
