It would be good to have blood work done before my doctors visit so we could discuss it during the visit.

Dr. Fredrick has been my PCP for over 5 years. She is consistently thorough as a primary care physician and always attentive to my concerns and questions. I am grateful for her medical expertise and for her doing what she does so well!!! The staff are always professional, kind and prompt. I have recommended Dr. Fredrick to my family who are also very happy to have her as their PCP.

Dr. Fredrick is an amazing primary care doctor. She always takes the time to discuss anything we have concerns. I'm a teen boy and she talks to me with respect and makes me feel comfortable talking to her about concerns that can be embarrassing. She's the best!

All of my visits with Dr. Fredrick have been a positive experience. She is caring and friendly, already aware of my medical history when she comes into the room, and explains her exam, findings, lab results and answers any questions in detail. She is an excellent physician and I would recommend her to anyone I know. All of the office staff at her office are friendly and helpful.

Great physician, but like most UH clinical staff, she is likely limited by *** goals to provide the kind of care that serves the patient, rather than the system. Overall fantastic physician and I recognize that her limitations are probably the result of system policies.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
