About
Ryan Codner, MS, APRN, CPNP-PC, grew up in Macedonia, Ohio, and earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Ohio State University. He also played a year of college football at John Carroll University. He is board certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Ryan spends much of his free time with his family, or reading, and is also involved in nonprofit work.

Ryan is the best physician in the practice. I never felt more comfortable with anyone else. He always listens to what I say or ask and gives me the answer I need. He makes me feel like I am the most important patent he has. He talks and acts like a friend, an older brother. I am very comfortable asking him questions. Ryan is compassionate and caring! Dr. Codner was the most considerate doctor that we have seen. My daughter has ongoing issues and he took the time to understand what has happened in the past and how we can prevent future visits.

Dr. Ryan is excellent. He always goes above and beyond to explain the situation so that I can understand it. He talks to my kids and makes them feel comfortable. But most importantly I never feel rushed out of the appointment, he listens to my questions and concerns and answers everything. This seems to be a lost art in the medical field and it's very frustrating. I really appreciate that he takes his time with me and my family.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities.
