I was referred by my previous family doctor, Dr. ***. Dr. J.C. Baniewicz made the effort to learn and understand a new patient's medical history and subsequent visits took the extra few minutes to know me better. He took the time to relate his personal experiences in relation to a similar issue I have, never had a doctor open up to me in this fashion and it greatly helped me with my problems, but it also laid a foundation of trust. I honestly believe if I was to see the doctor in public, he would recognize me and take a minute to talk. It's been over 30+ years since I felt this comfortable and at ease with my doctor. I feel like I'm more than a file and a name, more like visiting a friend who cares about me.

This was my first full annual physical with Dr. John C Baniewicz following my new patient intake visit in ***. His staff scheduled a comprehensive set of labs (typical for a male turning 65 this year) which I was able to complete and review in advance of my visit. He asked me if I had any questions or issues to discuss at the beginning of the visit and then incorporated appropriate responses to, and discussions about, my questions/concerns while reviewing the results of my lab work with me. I felt very comfortable and observed that he did not seem rushed or distracted in any way. It gave me great confidence and comfort to know he was focused totally on me for the duration of my visit. He recommended a few additional tests and immunizations appropriate for my age (*** scan, pneumonia vaccine, tetanus booster) and added one med to improve my daily blood pressure results (taken at home). I feel that I received more time, focused attention, personalized guidance and care in this first routine exam visit with Dr. John C than the previous 5 annual physicals with my prior PCP. I feel very fortunate to have been accepted as a new patient and look forward to a long relationship with Dr. John C as my PCP.

The doctor was very honest with my Aunt. He went over all her tests she had done in the Emergency Room and explained to her what she needed to do on her part to improve. He took time with her, which was much appreciated. Sometimes the elderly do not want to listen to family, but when the doctor explains the whys, they listen better. They still may not do what they are told to improve, but they do hear what is being said.
